Children in Crossfire is proud to announce that it is the chosen charity of the new website www.springtowncamp.com. Children in Crossfire are the Derry based charity that helps children all over the world caught in conflict and they are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.
Children in Crossfire work to improve the lives of vulnerable people and communities in some of the poorest countries worldwide. They do this by supporting practical initiatives that enable people to create a better future for themselves and their children.

To commemorate their ten year anniversary Children in Crossfire have re-branded with a new corporate identity reflecting the nature of the charity and its growing recognition across the globe.?To celebrate, a number of special events have been planned this year including a Gala Dinner in November, which raised £50,000 for the charity.

Richard Moore, Director of Children in Crossfire said,
“It is hard to believe that ten years have past since Children in Crossfire was established. The charity grew out of the conflict that affected so many children and young people here in Northern Ireland and has developed into a worldwide organisation. So much has been achieved and yet we have so much more to do to help the millions of children who are robbed of a chance in life because of conflict in their countries. We would like to sincerely thank all of our supporters over the last ten years and hope that the charity will continue to be supported in the next ten years.”
Richard continued,
“We are delighted that Springtowncamp.com has chosen Children in Crossfire as their charity and have displayed a link on their website. Hopefully the members will click on to our site to have a look at our projects and hopefully get involved in our fight against poverty.”
