Tommy Rankin first contacted springtowncamp.com in July of this year in relation to the where abouts of his brother Daniel.

Tommy lived at 99 Springtown Camp.If you look at the springtown Camp online map the number 99 equates to the G8-G18 area. From there he moved to the C21-C25 area on the online Springtown Camp map. Tommy lived with his Father Daniel and his mother Mary.Tommy had 5 sisters, Joan, Martha, Annie, Patricia & Bridget,he had 2 brothers, Billy who was the oldest and Daniel who was the youngest.Through a series of events in their lives Tommy and Daniel's paths went off in different directions as does happen in life. .It has been over 30 years since Tommy has seen Daniel and vice-versa.We would love to help Tommy to find Daniel, when I say we I mean myself and all of the visitors to springtowncamp.com. We would like to bring the power of the internet channeled through springtowncamp.com to bare in Tommy's quest in the search for his brother Daniel. ?Any relative information we have at the moment is now be published at the absent loved ones section.

Mary Kearney

This is a copy of an email I recieved from a Mr John Mc Connachie who runs a private investigation practise in Scotland. He has been asked to try to establish the where abouts of a Mary Kearney who lived in 61, Springtown Camp in the early 1950's?? Dear Hugo?I have been looking at your website with interest. I got the name of the website from a lady in Derry who thought your website may be able to help. I am a private investigator and a friend of mine from many years ago who has got in touch with me to try and trace somebody. My client has very little money and I have said to her that I will try and help at no cost to her in between doing other jobs. I have been trying to trace a Mary Kearney her age today would be approx 75 years old and her address in 1952 was 61 Springtown Camp, Londonderry. She spent some time in Glasgow in July 1952 and was admitted to hospital in Glasgow around that time, she also lived at 231 Nithsdale Street, Glasgow from July 1952 till September 1952. She may well have stayed in Glasgow until early 1953.? ?You are basically my last hope. Do you or any of the people that you have been involved with at the Springtown website have any idea where this person is. Even if it is bad news at least my client will have managed to locate her.? ?Can you help? It would make my client’s life complete if I can trace her.?Regards?John McConnachie??I know the details are fairly scarce and that the dates are a long time ago but maybe just maybe one of our visitors may have some information on what happened to Mary Kearney.
Any information we have on Mary Kearney is now Published: absent loved ones section.
