Springtown Camp, for the people who lived there, had a unique sense of community. The concept for ChatterDay was to find a space where former residents could form a new community, an online one. Here they could renew old acquaintances, reminisce about the past, discuss the present and plan for the future.??Of course the ChatterDay would not only be for the former residents, it would also be for their children and grandchildren, friends, and indeed anyone else who would like to contribute.

We hope that the ChatterDay will be a catalyst for people to talk online. We plan to have the ChatterDay as an annual event even though the community forum will be open online 24 hours a day.?
